I was beyond ecstatic when I found out that I was pregnant and having twins almost 6 years ago. I prayed and prayed as a child to one day have twins. I seriously never believed God would actually grant that wish! Boy does God have humor!!!
I love my girls to pieces, and my additional 2 blessings that have come along. My son who is 3 and my newest addition Caroline, 3 months old today.
I wish I could tell you that I am here just for all you moms to give you tips and advice, but I can't always, I myself am always in search of advice.
However, thru trial and error, and a 4th (unexpected) child, I have found some advice helpful and am willing to pass on my knowledge if wanted. Just ask me! I have plenty of tips on twins and would have loved for someone to have helped me as a young mom of multiples, so if you have multiples and need advice I will try my best to help you and tell you what has worked/not worked for us. Please feel free to share your advice for us as well!
Every day I learn something different about my children. They are 4 sweet blessings that God has given to my husband and I. I look at them sleeping frequently and think "how can this sweet, tender being be so darn challenging!!!"
If your a mom, I KNOW you have thought this before!
I remind myself daily that part of being a mother is taking the good with the bad. I should not really use the word bad because I am a firm believer that children aren't "bad", they are just learning what is and isn't unacceptable. It's the times that they test me on what they know is a "no no" that I just lose it! You still with me???
I am always looking for better ways on giving positive reinforcement for the good deeds (without making the others jealous) and tips on tackling the negative behavior. Its a long road!
I will be bragging about motherhood and my life with 4 but I will probably equally vent about motherhood as well, because I just need a place to vent and someone (thats you) to vent to! I think as a mother you will to find it humorous to read about my crazy mishaps as a mother (no your not alone).
I love life, I love my family, but by the time the day is over I can't help but ask myself,
"Where is my cup of sanity!"
what an amazing photo!
